Well, I quit taking the mini pill. Even at 10 mg estrogen per pill, I was going crazy. I was constantly angry and depressed. I realized it after I took a pill a few hours late. I got freaky a few hours later than I usually did each day. Sooooo, boo. My OB prescribed a progesterone pill, but I think I will try the rhythm method as well or instead of taking the pill.

By your post title I was expecting something completely different when I opened this up! 

I got Mirena and love it. I was awful at taking the pill the same time each day before kids, there is no way I would remember now. I hope you find something that works.

My pill didn't make me crazy, but it did make my migraines come back in full force. I quit it a few months ago and haven't had one migraine since.

I've been on 2 different bcs in the last 6 months. The first one is what I was on before LO, levora. I had no problems with it before so I just went back on the same one. OH MY! Made me evil, orthotricyclin did the same to me years ago! I could tell a huge difference taking it...super moody; and I'm talking mean, bite your head off, cry at the drop of a hat. So, they switched me and we started at the bottom of the rung to see what will work. So, my dr put me on microgestrin (is that the mini pill?). Anyway, I was having a period every other week! Stayed on it for 3 months...and I've noticed I've gotten lots of headaches lately...but there's been a lot going on so mine may just be stress related. Anyway, because of my situation, I've decided to quit taking anything. There's no real reason for me to at this point, so I'm not.  If you don't want to do the rhythm method, ask your dr to try you on something else.  It can take several tries to get it right...even if what you're taking is what you used to take.

I had the same issue with this and other bc pills. the estrogen in them makes me crazy, angry, and unable to sleep at night. i lasted 1 month on it before having to.stop as my whole family was miserable!

This is a huge reason why I'm not on a pill. Any form made me either sooooo extremely depressed or extremely angry all the time. It wasn't worth it to me. I couldn't stand just randomly crying or being pissed off for no reason. I hope they find something that works for you!!!
