10DPO Too soon to test?

Hi, I hope you don't get mad at these kinds of questions. I'm not on here much, but I wanted a little advice. I'm 10 DPO and I heard that I could have a positive test by now. What do you guys think? I've been super moody and crying a lot which isn't like me (unless I'm PMSing), but I also don't want to waste tests. Advice please!! Thank you!

I don't think it is too soon. Worst case scenario it is too early and you get a BFN and you wait a few days and take another.

When I got my BFP last time I tested at 11DPO and it was a very dark positive. I think if I would have tested at 9 or 10 DPO I might have still had a BFP.

It is early but you could certainly get a BFP. I'm all about peeing on things so I say do it.

Will you be more upset seeing a BFN or your period? If you don't mind seeing BFNs, go ahead and test. Keep in mind that even if the test is negative, it's still possible you're pregnant until you get your period.

I'll probably test in the morning and if it's negative, I'll wait until Wednesday before Thanksgiving (I'm going away so I don't want to bring them)... We'll see!! I'll be so excited if it's positive!

I got my BFP last cycle at 10 DPO, sadly it didn't stick.... but it can happen that early!

with my first and only baby so far I tested early like 6 days before my AF. and it came out negative I took a test 3 days later and it was positive. hope this helps a little

Same here.  BFP at 10dpo, but it ended at 4wks.

If you really don't want to waste a test then wait a few days. If you have some to spare then go ahead and test.

Maybe, maybe not....I got a faint positive on the evening of 9DPO, but I've heard of some women that haven't gotten positives until 14 or 15DPO.  If you can handle seeing a BFN, go for it.  If you only have expensive tests and don't want to waste them, wait another day or two.

It's not too early.  Especially if you're using an extra sensitive test like a FRER, it's possible to get a BFP.  However, if you're worried about possibly wasting tests I'd try to hang in there and wait a couple more days.

The best money saving advice I've heard about pregnancy / TTC is to only keep a box of maximum 3 tests on hand at one time.  Don't stock up.  If there are a bunch just hanging around your house you'll be more tempted to just pee on all of them.

This whole timing thing is SOOOO frustrating!  I came off the pill 4 months ago, but it took me 2 months just to get my period back.  October was the first month I had a regular period, so I'm not exactly sure when I ovulate.  Per all the things I've read, I should get my period this Friday, so I'm trying to hold out taking a test till then.  It's so tempting though.  Fingers and toes crossed!

I got my BFP with DD#1 at 10dpo testing at 8pm at night.

So I tested tonight because my fiance went out and bought me flowers and pregnancy tests haha It was negative... I swear I saw a slight something, but who knows.. The plan is to test Wednesday. Crossing my fingers!

I happen to be 10DPO and I tested.... BFN.  I have no symptoms just anxious... wish I didn't test because even though it was a BFN I still think well maybe it was too soon to tell. I just wasted a test and will now be very negative till AF arrives... hhmmm... why do I do this to myself?
