Question from pregnant STM...

How long did it take for your milk to come in the second time around? With my first, it took 5 days (which I know is pretty normal) but I was just wondering if the second time around it comes in earlier or it doesn't really matter... Just prepping myself mentally!

    DS was born on a Wednesday, milk came in Sunday night

    DD was born on a Wednesday, milk came in Friday by noon...much faster!

    It was about 5 days the first time and 2 the second. I had a cesarean the first time and VBAC the second so that could have affected it too. Also my second son was much more alert when eating and also wanted to eat a lot more so I think he helped to bring my milk in faster.

    DD was born Monday night and my milk came in Thursday night... a couple days earlier than my first pregnancy. However, she got the hang of it immediately. It was a little more work with DS.
