Dd is 8 mos, and ped said that he's comfortable with starting milk around 9 months or so. So in about a month I'm going to try and start weaning. How should I go about this? I definitely don't have an oversupply...and my right one doesn't have too much the rest of the day after the first AM feed. The left is the one that works best, and even that one doesn't have an over supply. Just enough to get by. no pumping could happen at this point.
Sked goes like this
8am BM
930 breakfast
11 BM
130 lunch
330 BM
530 dinner
830 BM.
Thanks in advance!
Also, do I give her milk in a bottle or sippy?

The above is not a scholarly article but sums up the concerns of cow's milk before 12mo. I have heard many say there is likely little difference between 11mo supplementing if mom's supply isn't holding up and 12mo, but I have never heard anyone recommend or encourage switching to cow's milk at 9mo.
When you are ready to wean though, offer a sippy/straw cup of milk/formula in place of nursing, probably at the "least favorite" time then slowly cut back a feeding every few weeks. Naturally your baby will wean but given the option probably not until much older.
