What do you all think of Waverly for a girl?

Not a fan...it makes me think of the Disney show 'Wizards of Waverly Place'.

Apparently it's slated to be one of the biggest upcoming trendy names. I don't like it enough to give the name to my child, but it's definitely nowhere near the worst I've seen!

I think that it's pretty, but not really a name that could grow with a girl. It's hard for me to imagine an adult named Waverly.

You do realize that people actually live in the South, right?

The name is NMS and I have pretty think skin when reading what are clearly people's opinions...but this just rubbed me the wrong way.

Not a fan at all. It falls right into the "ley" trend Brinley, Kinsley, etc and it also sounds weak to me.

DH does not like it either. I heard it and keep thinking about it.

And the name hunt continues...
