Burning in right breast

The title pretty much sums it up. My right breast is burning so bad I want to curl up in a ball and cry. I get some relief right after I nurse, but as I get closer to the next feeding the worse it hurts. This has gotten progressively worse as the day has gone on. Anyone have any insight for me?

You could have thrush (yeast infection of breast) Call your doc and get antibiotics.

Sounds like an infection.  I had mastitis but it didn't burn.  GL!

I had thrush on the left side and it is exactly what you are describing. It would feel a little better after nursing, but would get worse again before the next feeding. I started an anti-fungal med and am feeling better already. I also took some Advil to help with the pain. Good luck!
