Babies breathing heavy?

My 2 week old girls always seem like they're breathing so heavy (born at 36 weeks). I hope I'm just being a worried mom. Is this normal?

It's hard to say, Campbell has loud breathing due to severe reflux, but if I were you I'd call the pediatrician.

I asked the nurses about this before DD even left the NICU and they told me it was just residual effects from being on CPAP for so long.  She still does it and has been home for a month.  Her lungs are nice and clear, so its nothing major.  We have a cool mist humidifier in the bedroom and I use saline drops and the aspirator on her a few times a day to keep her nose free and clear too.
