What is your favorite Thanksgiving Tradition: mostly just going to my mom's and all of us girls (mom, 2 sisters and myself) sharing stories standing around the island in the kitchen munching on food, and preparing dinner, while the boys watch football or play PS3.
Favorite Thanksgiving food: Green bean and tater tot casserole.
What are you thankful for this year: Obviously being able to start our little family with our first child. My family for supporting all of my and my husbands decisions, our families for helping us with Kyler whether it be watching him, taking him to dr appts., buying him things he needs and things to play with. And also you ladies... its awesome making so many friends here, to be able to share stories with, to learn things from and to know we are not alone in things going on in our lives with children!

Making the stuffing. We don't have a recipe for our stuffing. It is just something you learn as you grow up. So, when I make the stuffing it reminds me of all the years I spent with my mom learning how to make it. This year my DH is on call and my family lives to far away. We are spending it with the neighbors who are great, but I won't get to make my stuffing. I'm a little sad about that.
Favorite Thanksgiving food.
Stuffing, Pumpkin pie, and sweet potatoes.
What you are thankful for this year.
I am thankful for DS1 and DS2 and DH. My successful VBAC (still on a little bit of a high for accomplishing it med free). That DS2 is so far very healthy and allergy free. That breastfeeding is working for us this time. And finally that DS1 loves being a big brother and doesn't want to return DS2!!!
This makes me realize that I don't have any traditions. Hmm... guess I'll have to start one this year. We do have a tradition of decorating the house for Christmas the day after. We put the tree up and everything. My parents will be in town this year and my mom and I will be baking all day as well. So excited!

Many things, my DH and I had a heck of a year. Very thankful for a gorgeous healthy baby girl, a successful move to a new state, a wonderful new job for DH that he loves and provides well enough so I can stay home with DD, and the purchase of our beautiful first home.
Having a lazy morning of watching the Parade on tv, then making deviled eggs and getting dressed up and going to my grandma's for a late lunch with all of my family. After that, it's off to MIL's for dinner. It's a day full of family and good food.
