I brought Skyler in for her 9 month appointment this morning and she did really well.  She is 16lbs 15.5oz (25%) and 26.5in (25%) and her head was 17.5cm I believe.

I asked her doctor about her food intake and if I should try for a specific variety of foods and she said no, anything is fine if I stick with healthy choices.

I also asked if I could supplement with WCM if my BM supply goes low and she said yes.  She said she usually has her patients switch at 1 year, but the other doctor in her practice has his patients switch at 10 months so she didn't see a problem with it.

She said the average milk intake is around 25 -30oz, but as long as LO seems satisfied to keep doing what I'm doing because she is growing well and hitting all her milestones.

Sounds good! One thing our pedi suggested was to ensure that LO gets a good amount of protein in her non BM foods. Things like meat, greek yogurt, beans and lentils. She said she'll need that as she becomes more active. It was a good reminder for me since her solids have been lots of fruits and veggies.

We also found a weird formula that we like to supplement my dwindling supply. It's on Amazon.com and is called Holle. It's german, but tastes better and is organic and was the only one with ingredients we were happy with (no added sugar, etc). Only problem is you have to supplement the DHA.

Thanks, I will look into this.  I had looked at Earth's Best to supplement but hadn't decided since I haven't had to do it yet.  We use an organic milk at home that has DHA and Omega 3's in it so I guess I will make the decision if and when the time comes.
