At DS's appointment last week, I asked the doctor about switching from formula to milk, and he said to give DS 2% instead of Whole Milk. Not that there is anything wrong with whole milk, I guess just that he doesn't need all that fat. Most places I research this though say to give whole milk. What are you doing?

Re: What kind of milk?
My pedi (who I used to work with, and greatly respect as a practitioner) said that intrducing whole milk ntil age two is vitally important to brain development due to the fats available in it (that are not available in other milk). I know that some of our other physicians will put a baby on 2% if they are obese (we had a 45 pound one year old that they recommended that with).
Anyway, we are doing whole!
