Yeah, you won't get far with them. I tried to switch to a midwife who delivers only at a hospital and they still wouldn't let me because "There are perfectly capable doctors who can handle your pregnancy the way you want". They're pretty jerky.
They paid my home birth cnm the "out of network" rate. She has a billing company, so I'm sure it's all in how the claim is coded. I could not or the life of me get anyone on the phone to give me a straight answer, however.
