So, at first I was super excited. First beta 17dpo, 561. Second, 20dpo, 2291! I was thrilled that they were super high. Now the more I read and talk to friends, the more I'm freaking out a little that it could be twins?
I know none of you can answer for me, and I have an u/s tuesday so we'll get a peek I hope. But I'm curious if anyone had a doubling time as fast aas 30 hours or so for just one baby? Or if anyone knows of any reason that could make them double that fast? (I'm on progesterone supplements but I don't think that can affect hcg levels?)

I love my rainbow baby!
i got back 30 hours, which seemed pretty low to me, but I'm sure I'm just being silly!
I guess you will find out at the ultrasound! My ultrasound is that day as well- cant wait! My numbers were a bit high, too but I'm just hoping it means I'm having a girl lol!
My doubling time as less than 24 hours and twins never crossed my mind. 20 DPO puts you right before 5 weeks, and here is the range of normal for early pregnancy:
3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/mlAs you can see for 5 weeks you aren't even halfway to the highest number. Also, super high betas don't always mean twins. You don't necessarily have twice as much HCG for two babies. You may just have high HCG. Try not to freak out until your ultrasound.
