First Weekend Trip Away

We are going to the mountains for the weekend and it will be the longest I've been away from LO. I already want to cry. It's one of our best friends birthday, he's turning 30 and his wife is surprising him with a weekend away with a bunch of our friends and a mountain house. I'm excited and I know we'll have fun, but I'm afraid I won't last the whole weekend away from Owen! I hope our guy friends don't mind my breast milk hanging out in the fridge with all of their beer.

Good for you! And they shouldn't mind your BM in the fridge...you can always put a lunch cooler in the fridge so it doesn't get moved around too much.

I'm sure you'll have fun!  Part of me would LOVE a weekend away right now, but I feel the same way you do and don't know if I could handle it.  We've done a night away from them here and there and that's been nice, though.  I'm sure your LO will do well and you'll miss him, but also enjoy the break.

Oh my!  I wish you the best.  I've yet to spend a night away from Ian.  Saturday night, I'm going to a movie with a friend, but only doing so after Ian's in bed.  I'm a little attached!

I hope you all have a good time.  And you might want to hide the BM in the fridge somewhere, because if there's that much beer...they might think it's funny to 'play' with the BM, lol.  Only kidding.  HAVE FUN!
