Yeah - it didn't work for me either We are wrapping DH in green garland/lights/and ornaments, then dressing Hayley in her christmas dress so I can lift her up to put the star on his head!

I have to get her to practice lifting the star though cuz it's kinda heavy. We may be improvising to putting an ornament on him...

We just did ours, a friend sent me a great idea she found on Pinterest.  Ethan sat in a Cozy Coupe all dressed up in winter coat and his hat outside and we tied the top piece of our artificial Christmas Tree to the top of the Cozy Coupe with twine.  It looked like he was hauling his own Christmas tree home - turned out super cute.
