So I'm finally looking into starting mashed/ solids and weaning off purees. What are some good beginner breakfast/lunch/ dinner ideas for LO's just starting solids

DS eats everything, and has been off purees since 7 months, his choice! Once he got a taste of chunks of food that he could feed himself, he wanted nothing to do with purees:) I don't blame him, how boring:)
He started with small chunks of soft cheese, real veggies (kernels of corn, peas, mashed sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, steamed soft chunks of carrots, etc.). He loves tiny slivers of apples and loves bananas. Loves noodles, tiny bites of chicken and beef. Loves waffles, pancakes and Cherrios. LOVES scrambled eggs and toast with peanut butter. Hummus is a winner. His fav casserole is tator tot casserole (ha!). Loves cut up meatballs.
My advice - don't be afraid to try new things, be adventurous! Babies like most things if you give them a chance to try it. And don't be afraid of icky faces they make, thinking they don't like it. It takes DS a few tries to realize he really loves a new food!
I still give K baby food fruit with oatmeal mixed in for breakfast but he also gets toast or a frozen waffle with cut up fruit. For lunch he gets yogurt, string cheese, veggies likes peas or beans. And for dinner sometimes he eats what we're having or I'll give him meatballs, chicken, brocolli, and graham crackers. I started buying frozen vegetables and fruits because he eats so little and they won't go to waste like buying fresh produce.

Lucia loves small pieces of everything we eat. She also really likes eating spaghett with us. I gave her the meatballs as finger food, and spoon fed her the spaghetti cut up into small bits.
avocadoes, fork mashed peas and beans, soft cooked noodles, little pieces of fresh mozzarella (soft kind), soft meatballs (there are recipes on the internet for example, made of just pureed cooked beef and mashed potatoes or with pork/carrot/apple/breadcrumbs), little balls of rice, overboiled green beans (I like to boil them in broth for flavor), overcooked, steamed broccolli, and carrots, well-boiled potato or sweet potato cubes, lasagna pulsed quickly in a food processor, mandarin oranges, hardboiled egg yolks (if baby has started them), baby puffs, soft tiny pieces of bread (baby had a bread choking incident once, so I only use tiny pieces), fork mashed flaky fish and rice
Thank you ladies this really helps. I'm thinking we're going to start with mashed up bananas and other fruits and some veggies to start...and take it from there. My pediatrician had told me no dairy until after a year because of allergies..so i'm hesitant on that yet.
