We are taking DS to Las Vegas for thanksgiving. Yes, very nontraditional but since my parents won't be here and H's family does not celebrate thanksgiving, my siblings and I decided on Las Vegas with our families! Not much to do at Vegas with so many young kids but should be fun. We made reservations for our thanksgiving dinner and will all be staying at the same hotel!

We are in the middle of selling our house, buying a new one, moving, selling a pickup, buying a new car, and my husband started a new job. I am also a single mom for about a month during this transition.

Phew....a lot going on right now! Especially during the holidays.

We closed on a house we bought sight unseen! We'll see it for the first time
on thanksgiving.

We're taking LO on her first train ride soon from Reno to Omaha! I'm very excited!

Oh LO went swimming for the first time this week. She loved it.

I got a text message from my nephew for the first time today. I think I'm the first person he's ever texted. He's nine as of yesterday!!! It's hard for me to believe he's not a little little boy anymore!

I ate the most amazing meal tonigh: I looooove me some beef wellington.

Well, that's all I got for the moment.

DH is pushing me to buy a house so we might start getting serious about our house hunt in the next few months. I'd rather wait until after he gets a new job this summer so his search isn't limited though I'd love for him to get one out of state!

8 days until we leave for our cruise!

Breaking dawn comes out this week! judge away! Lol

DH and I are moving back to the state from which we moved a little after DD was born - there are just no job opportunities here. He got offered something in the old state, but it pays very little so I'm pretty stressed about it. HOWEVER, I did just apply for a job that I think I might actually have a shot at getting, so fingers crossed

I'm decorating one of my stores for Christmas a bit early because we are going to shoot our very first commercial there on Friday. DH and I are very excited and a bit stressed about it. We have also been talking about building our dream home soon though we don't currently have all the funds. We just want our kids to grow up in one house. DH and I both moved a lot when we were kids and didn't like it.
