how many wet diapers at 16 mo?

DD is sick but eating, nursing, drinking sippy all fine but has only had 2 wet diapers today. first one being from overnight. this is unusual for her even being that she is sick

I'm going to say around 6+ for Dylan.

We were at the hospital last week because Dylan picked up Hand, foot, mouth, disease (not fun!!) and the docs said a good way to tell if LO is dehydrated is if he has tears when he's crying.

LO averages 4 in 24 hours.  I change her when she wakes up, mid-morning (poo), after her nap, and before bed.

Well, what do you consider a wet diaper?  I mean, DS's is almost always somewhat wet, but we only change him every 2 hours or so.

We were just talking to our doctor about this, and she said they like to see a "dirty" diaper about every 4 hours.

When DD was sick, our doc said they like to see them go no more than 8 hours between wet diapers, just to be sure they're hydrated. That was a bare minimum, though, since she was refusing to eat/drink much.
