I have to bring something to my parents for Thanksgiving. I was going to do corn cassarole (which everyone LOVES) but my step-cousin decided to make it. What do you make that's easy and that everyone enjoys? We decided to nix the green bean cassarole this year because it was getting old...we need something new!!!
ps-my mom is a vegetarian, so I need to try to stay veg friendly.
Re: What are your go to Thanksgiving side dishes?
This salad went over really well when I made it for Thanksgiving. I just thinly sliced pears, rather than serving each person half a pair.

Spinach Souffle
Broccoli Souffle
Anything with Cheese Whiz.
The two dishes named above both have Cheese Whiz in them and they are great.
Don't hate on the whiz, yo.
Is there a recipe for this amazing sounding dish?
I want this recipe too. I am bringing baked butternut squash to Thanksgiving with butter and brown sugar.
Mashed Sweet Potatos with Marshmallows on top
Peel and chop 4-6 sweet potatos boil until fork tender
Blend with butter, milk and brown sugar to taste
Pour in a 8x8 or 9x9 glass casserol dish cover top with large marshmallows. (make sure to allow enough room in the pan for them to puff up)
Bake in oven at 350 until marshmallows are golden brown.
Always a hit here.
This is what I was going to suggest as well.
Roasted cauliflower. Nobody else brings it, it goes great with Thanksgiving, and everyone LOVES it!
