What to eat at Daycare???

I know this may seem like a stupid question but my soon to be 1 year old is starting daycar for the first time next week. The daycare doesnt provide any meals so I was just wondering if anyone has any good suggestions of things to pack. He is still on formula but he also eats adult food pretty well considering he only has 4 teeth, but I just feel like im not sure what to send him with? Any suggestions???

  • Do they have a fridge/microwave?  You can send pretty much whatever.  Shredded chicken, cheese, yogurt, soft fruits/veggies, bits of bread, noodles/pasta, toast/sandwiches, waffles/pancakes...

  • I went through the same thing last year, and pretty much sent along what the pp suggested. I'd also sent boiled eggs, tuna, home made quiche, scones, muffins.

I only had to send along lunch. Do they have storage space? Could you send along packets of crackers, bags of dried fruit etc for morning/afternoon tea?
