First Cycle of Clomid, question?

Hi I've been on here before but tried to stay away for a while and try to make myself think about something besides having another baby (didn't really work ha) So now I am starting my first round of Clomid and I have a question about when I should take my first pill. I'm supposed to start on cycle day 3 but instead of being straight forward I had to start my period in the evening. So does anyone have any advice on if you start at like 6 or 7PM do you count that day as day 1 or do you start counting from the first full day. My cycles are usually short, around 25 days, so I just don't want to start too late and end up ovulating so early that the Clomid doesn't have time to help the egg mature!! Also I'm planning to take the pills in the evening to help reduce any symptoms as much as possible if that makes any difference! Thanks for any info you can offer!! :-)

My RE says if you start your period after noon you are to count the following day as day 1.

Your RE probably has a cut-off for CD1 (at my office, the cut-off is if my period comes after 7PM, then the next day is CD1). I would call and confirm with them .. good luck!

I have always taken Clomid at night so my RE gave me the okay to count the first day even if AF doesn't start until the evening.

Thanks for the responses, I ended up calling my OBGYN to check since it seems they all count evenings differently and she told me to not count the first day since I didn't start until the evening and start with the first full day so I guess tonight is my first night to start!!
