Once we buy a gift do we click on the " Mark as purchased" button? Does this show the recipient that it is purchased?? Then its no longer a surprise?? Or is it??

    It would show up on your matches list as being purchased, so the only thing that would be a surprise would be who bought the gift.

    I'm not going to mark the gift as purchased. I think that feature is more for a situation where multiple people are buying gifts for one person. It seems unnecessary and would ruin the surprise.
