It's so hard reading about all these first appointments and first ultrasounds knowing I'm WEEKS away from mine!! Last time I was at the beginning of the month so I never felt jealous or anxious.

Haha, yeah that's me. July 21st right here.
I was at the end of the month (the 31st) with my wedding board too, everyone was always so ahead of me.

LMP is a lose estimation that every woman has a 30 day cycle and ovulates in the middle. An ultrasound actually measures the baby and will give you a more accurate date.

It usually depends on how far off you're measuring. If it's over a week off, they might change your due date.
For my pregnancy with DS, my due date was July 15th by LMP and July 19th by my O date. Since it was only a few days difference, my OB went by my LMP.
I've had my first appointment today and I'm currently 3 weeks but will be 4 weeks on Friday. I've had exam and blood work done today then go back on Thursday to see the "high risk" Dr as I'm diabetic type 2 and then is when he'll decide to do the first ultrasound which prob won't be until I'm 6wks or 10wks along. which seems like years away!
My EDD is 7/25 or 7/28
I have been having to keep talking myself out of retesting. Besides my BFP all signs symptoms point to pregnant. Still, it's so hard to trust it until I hear the heartbeat and see outgrowing baby.

I know, right? In my defense this is only my second BFP first on Friday was FAINT and FRER has BOGO mail in rebate sooooo this box will be free. A darker line is nothing compared to a HB on and u/s, though!
