Timing of 4D Ultrasound

My work friends gave me a giftcard today for a 4D ultrasound package.  I know you want it to be late enough that they have chubby cheeks but not so late they're all squished up.  

What's the "right" time for an elective 4D ultrasound with twins?

I have asked this question on another forum and other said around 26 to 27 weeks. I'm looking forward to seeing what people say here because we would love to get some of these pics as well.

I went to one of those places to find out the sexes of my twins.  The u/s tech there said if I decided to come back for a 4D u/s later, the best time would be between 24 - 27 weeks.

We did ours at 28 weeks and it was PERFECT!

I was told that around 28 weeks is good for my first.  So I wouldn't do it any later than that for sure.  It's a really fun experience!  Enjoy!

Thanks, ladies!  I'll be 24-25 weeks over Christmas break so that will be the perfect time to use it!
