Speaking of scheduled c-section & inductions

At what point in your pregnancy was your's scheduled? The only discussions we have had so far is that I would be scheduled for 38w, and c-section vs vaginal birth.

Honestly, we never talked about it.  My MFM's preference was for me to go into spontanious labor, since both boys were head-down.  I ended up with an induction t 37 weeks due to IUGR, but we scheduled that the week before.

I will tentatively schedule mine at my 28 week appointment.  I swear my doctor only does it this early to give me a mental boost.  I was told by my OB we will schedule for between 37 - 38 weeks but that can completely change based on their size, my body. complications etc.  He said we will put it on the actual hospital schedule closer to 34/35 weeks.

At my 32 wk appt and multiple others the different OBs in the practice said they'd schedule for 38 weeks but never scheduled a date. At my 32 wk appt we discussed vaginal vs. c/s but no dates.

We did have a scan/ ultrasound last week and have an appt with the OB Wednesday so I am hoping based on the report from the MFM,the OBs will decide and schedule!

My OB scheduled it with me around 20 weeks.

Mine still hasn't. His exact words were, "I'm pretty confident we'll just deliver when your water breaks, but if we have to schedule it'll be around 38 weeks and we won't put in for it at the hospital until a few days beforehand."

I want to say we scheduled it around the 30-32 week mark.  OB took out her calendar and we scheduled my cs (both babies were breech at that point and stayed that way) for 38 weeks.  She ended up moving it up a week when I started showing signs of pre-e and I delivered via cs at 37 weeks, 1 day.  I think the babies could've waited longer but my body just couldn't!

We are still a ways away from delivery, but my Dr. told me that he will schedule an induction for 38 weeks if I make it that far. I am not sure why, I would prefer to go into labor on my own, but he said that he does not want to leave them in there longer than that. I have made it very clear I would prefer a vaginal delivery if at all possible. I don't really know what will happen for us.... it is so early still, anything could change!
