On which week/day was your scheduled? Did you make it to your scheduled date?

Mine is for 37 and 2 days. 8 days away... It was just a date the doctors pulled out of the hat.

That's a great follow-up question: Why did your DR or whoever pick the week/day they did for your scheduled c-section? And I suppose these same questions could pertain to scheduled induction, too.

That's great!...and seems like forever from now. 38ish weeks is what my DRs are talking about now and I just can't believe I'd make it that long...

Same here.  Mine was scheduled on that day because the hospital wouldn't allow "elective" c/s before 38w (elective vs. emergency).

I made it to my scheduled c-section at 37w6d. It would have been at 38 weeks exactly but that was a Saturday and I was more comfortable having it on a week day since there is more staff there. I think I would have stayed pregnant forever! I had absolutely no signs of going into labor, other than lots of contractions but they were all non-productive.

Mine was scheduled for 37w2d. My water broke at 36w1d and I delivered 4 hrs later.

We picked it together sometimes around 20 weeks.  I was going to schedule for 38w2d but it is the day after Thanksgiving and the OR wasn't scheduling for that day.  So we went with the day before Thanksgiving, otherwise it would have been the following Monday which would have put me at 38w5d and my doctor didn't think I would make it that far.

We haven't scheduled ours just yet but my OB is aiming somewhere between 37 to 38 weeks and I get to pick the day.  I am going for a Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning as that will allow SO more time home after with not missing a week for the hospital stay.

Scheduled for 37w5d, then bc of complications 36w1d, but my water broke and they came at 35w2d.

Mine was scheduled at 38 weeks.  But I had one at 34w6d due to pre-eclampsia.

Mine was schedualed for 38wks 1day and I went into labor at 37wks 1day. We picked that day because they said they wouldn't schedual an elective c/s anytime before 38 weeks and that was the first day we could get in since 38 weeks exactly was a Sunday, so we picked Monday.
