Just wanted to let you all know!

I know I don't post much, but I just wanted to let you all know that I appreciate how friendly and open minded you all are.

I have been lurking on the ttc board, and posted today, and the ladies there are such immature bushes! They are so nasty and hurtful to everyone.

It was about progesterone cream.

I have been lurking for like a week, and I see how nasty they are to others.

You have to remember that they deal with a lot of seriously stupid people every day over there. So if you're posting incorrect information, they're going to assume you're one of them. I wouldn't take it personally.

While I do think some of them were a little on the snarky side the info they gave you was good. From my years of working in the fertility field I can tell you that you should definitely not be taking OTC progesterone without the guidance of your doctor. Also you don't take it until three days after ovulation which doesn't always happen on cycle day 14. Like Papps said it will do nothing to help you get pregnant. It can only (potentially) support an existing pregnancy in a woman who is known to have a history of low progesterone in early pregnancy. They see a lot of people on that board giving inaccurate medical advice on the regular. I think their tolerance for that sort of thing is very low.

I also think they are generally nicer if you intro and play around a little first.

Thanks for your input ladies. I guess I didn't realize it was a big deal since it was otc. I used it previously to regulate my cycle and it worked, so that was kind of why I wanted to use it again, not necessarily to get pregnant.

They all just made me feel like an idiot I think I will stick to lurking rather than posting from now on
