Spring vs foam crib mattress?

Hi all,

This may be a dumb question, but what are the pros/cons of a spring mattress versus a foam mattress?  Still can't decide what kind to get.

Foam is lighter and easier to change sheets on.

I had read that on here on some other posts.  I was looking at the mattresses on the Babies R Us website, and in the specs, the weight difference is minimal.  Just wondering if there was anything else I should consider.  Thanks!

Foam tends to fit cribs better because the edges aren't rounded like spring mattresses. We couldn't use the spring mattress we received with our crib.
