Transition from bed sharing

To side car crib...

Is it a jump in the deep end and just do it type situation or is there a trick to it?

DS tosses and turns and I'm m/s all over so I need a bit more space.

    We did it cold turkey at about the same age. He actually took to it immediately and we didn't have any issues. I guess we both needed more space. :)
