XP: Has Anyone's LO gone through VitalStim Therapy?

I'm looking for some feedback from anyone who has had a LO go through VitalStim therapy. Dr. Google is freaking me out.

DD2 has dysphagia (swallowing difficulty). She failed her 2nd swallow study this week. She had pretty severe GERD until 6m and still has a milk and soy intolerence/allergy(?). We didn't realize there was an issue with swallowing until we introduced purees at 6 months. She has been improving with thickened liquids, but if she doesn't show a marked improvement with thin liquids in 3 months they are recommeding therapy.
