Fre wine

So I just bought a bottle of the Fre: Alcohol Removed wine.  It has less than .5 percent alcohol in it and I checked online and everything I read (including their website) said it was safe for pregnant women.  I'm anxious to crack it open and give it a try!  I wouldn't drink a lot of it but during a dinner where I might feel a little out of place, a glass or half glass might be nice!

    At my local Target (not a Super Target), I saw Red, Chardonnay, and Brut.  I've heard there's moscoto out there somewhere but it wasn't at my location. I bought the Red.

    By all means have at it - but don't expect much... The red isn't terrible but the white is blech.

    I've had it before, several varieties. None are really satisfied my wine craving, they all tasted very juice-like to me. Best I could do was take the red wine and make mulled wine or make a fun cocktail with the Brut. Hopefully you'll like it better than I did!

    Ahh I just got some of that the other night! Me and my hubby were out getting formula for our girl, and I saw it by the checkout at Target. Of course I was excited! I got the white Zinfandel. Unfortunately I was not impressed, I was expecting great things, and was pretty disappointed. I guess I shouldn't have very high expectations for a alcohol free bottle of wine that costs less then six dollars. Oh well.
