We just started this past week.  I'm glad your LO liked it right away.  DD hated it the first three nights and fought us.  Or maybe she was just confused and didn't know what to do.  But, by the fourth night she was gobbling it up and cried when it was all gone.

DS is doing a LOT better with oatmeal than he did with rice (which made him constipated). Glad your DD is liking it, too! I'm dying to try a vegetable, but we're waiting until 6 months like the pedi recommended.

I skipped rice. Our pedi said to give veggies after 4 days of cereal. We will try some yams

YAY!! I'll be giving LO solids at 6 months. I have all of his stuff ready, spoons and organic rice cereal. We will see what happens...:)

I wanted to wait too, but LO has been nursing every hour around the clock for the past month, so we figured that it was time to add solids.

We started a week ago and DS loves it too. I think it's helping him sleep better. He's only getting up once a night now!

How much are you giving and how often?

1 teaspoon mixed with enough formula to get the right consistency; not an exact amount of formula.

I'm only giving it once a day right now at 6 pm. He has the oatmeal right before his bottle.

The pedi said I can up it to twice a day when I am ready.
