This was suggested to a potential adoptive parent on another board that I read. I think it's shockingly inappropriate but other posters replied and said it's common and a can be a good idea.
I'm pretty sure the whole pregnancy thing underscored, for me, the need to be more strict about my birth control. Having a class is unnecessary; it won't turn people who weren't careful into people who are careful any better than an unplanned pregnancy does.
I say these ppl are dumb. Certainly, though, during one of their office meetings, education can be offered, in case the e-parents really aren't aware of how it works... But my guess is that number is pretty low.

[what I mean is that I think it's hilarious how some people beeelieeeve that education can change anyone's behavior. Those people are dumb.
Some people like making the same mistakes over and over, or aren't ready to change their lifestyle, and for those of us who don't want to repeat history, placing a child for adoption is enough of a lesson, thanks.]

I keep typing responses but deleting them because everything I have to say is so biitchy and exasperated. (About the person who made the comments on the post saying that it's a good idea in some situations.) I hate the internet sometimes.
