We have this set from Plan Toys. I think it was around the $150 mark when we bought it a few years ago. I love the wooden dollhouse and the quality of the little wooden furniture sets. The furniture seems to be the same size as the Loving Family sets from Fisher Price. We have the Loving Family van and some of the people, and the girls play with them interchangeably. I'm planning to get DD2 some of the Loving Family sets for Christmas to go with the Plan Toys dollhouse.

My brother bought DD the Fisher Price My First Doll House when she turned 2. It is great for young kids IMHO. DD totes that house around our house and has dropped it, fallen over it, etc. and it still looks great, nothing has broke. I plan on getting DD a more expensive doll house when she is a little older. I considered it this year but DS loves playing beside her and sticks everything in his mouth yet. Maybe next year.
We have one of the Kidkraft versions. It's still a little tall for DD, but it is something that she can grow into and play with for a while. The people are just the right size for her smaller hands.
We gave DD the FP Loving Family dollhouse last year for Christmas, she had turned 2 in Oct. She has played with it daily ever since and I think she will play with it for years to come. DS loves to play with it with her.
