Exhausted

I'm really feeling good except for the fatigue. Prior to pregnancy, I would go to bed at 11pm, get up at 545, teach my 2nd graders, then teach my fitness classes/do grueling workouts for 2 +hrs a day. 

Now, I can barely get up in the am and I'm in bed at 930. I'm still teaching my cycling classes, but I'm wiped. 
 
Am I alone? Hoping my energy picks up in the 2nd trimester

  • You are not alone! I've been falling asleep on the couch after dinner each night and the snooze button on my alarm has been my friend. I'm used to working out an hour a day,56 days a week, so that is long gone now!

  • I am waiting for the hard core fatigue to hit me. I am not sleeping well at night and am pretty sure once the real pregnancy fatigue hits I will not be able to function.

  • That's been my main symptom too. Atleast I'm getting good sleep and its definitely worth it. DH is up late each night and I'm passed out...I heard some energy comes back 2nd fri so ill look forward to that!

  • I'm in the same boat.  Feel like I could sleep all day and seems like I do sometimes.  I usually work out 5 or 6 days a week doing Bikram yoga, running 2+ miles, sometimes hit the gym for hour plus workouts, etc.  Within the last 2 weeks it's amazing if I can attempt to walk one to miles or do yoga two to three times a week.  I'm not one who usually takes naps or falls asleep during movies, but I am now! So no, you are not alone! Try to rest whenever you can.
  • Nope you are certainly not alone. I'm in bed by midnight at the latest up at 8am. Work from 10am till 7pm. I work in retail, dashing around like a headless chicken and by the time I get home at 8pm...I'm ready for bed. I struggle to get anything done other than work most days.

  • This is my worse pregnancy symptom. Just counting down to the 2nd tri when my energy will be back, if only for just a few weeks.

  • I've never been a night owl, but now I'm getting tired around 8.  I'm fine in the mornings tho.

  • You are most certainly not alone. I an exhausted all the time now. Before I had a hard time falling asleep before midnight now I am ready to crash by 9:00. I have recently started taking gummy PreNatal vitamins and I think they are actually helping with the fatigue. I heard from a lot of people that they got sick from the regular PreNatals so I wanted to avoid them. I don't need anything else making my feel sick. The gummies aren't too bad.
