Hey there lady.. just thought I would share Sam's results this morning! My mom came over to take him to his follow up since I had baby and toddler at home. lol Didn't think I would be great at handling all that. 

He's gained 13lbs!! He was 85.1lbs today. His BUN is down to 37. His CRE is at 1.0!!!  He's keeping him on the steroids.  Right now he's still on Baytril, Doxycycline, and Prednisone.  So it sounds like he'll be going off one of the anti-biotics once that runs out and he'll stay on one anti-biotic and the prednisone. He wants to keep him on them for another 10 days (past the 4-5 days he still has left on his existing script) and then determine if we should just continue meds.  He also did the CBC and will call back in the morning when he has the red blood count in.  But all in all... great appt!

 Yayayayaya! I am so happy to hear this.I have no clue why I got so attached to Sammy, but I love getting the updates. Glad everyone is doing so well.

Thanks so much ladies! Ya know I think any real animal lover has a hard time not getting attached and not feeling for families and their animals. I know I'm like that too. I think dogs are better to you then people are half the time! I mean who is happier to see you then your dog? They don't care if you stink.. if you're fat.. if you're ugly.. they love you no matter what.. in fact they probably love you more if you stink. lol  

I'm so glad that Sammy is doing better. Crossing my fingers for better red blood count tomorrow!
