Auntie book opinion

Auntie,

My mom just recommended this book to me.  My DS 13 on Monday, was dx AS at 11yr and ADHD at 9yrs.

My parents mean well and they are trying to be supportive.  But my sister is dyslexic and they didn't think she would graduate High School so accepted her at anything she could do instead of challenging her.  Which was a stark contrast to how they treated me and my brothers. She's in college now as a english lit major. Yet angry at my parents for not expecting the same from her as they did from us.  But I see the same "acceptance" they had w/ my sister now w/ my DS. 

So I wanted your opinion on the book.
