Fri: Ky's tumbling place has open swim from 5:30-7:30 every Friday so we are going to go swimming! Ever since our Chicago trip Ky brings up swimming at least once a week. I did not tell her we are going so it is oging to be a big surprise!
Sat: Tumbling. A is joining us so not sure if she wants to hang out more with Ky after or not. Lately she has been cutting the visits super short. After we get shome, I need to clean and do laundry.
Sun: I need to get the stuff out of the garage/my room and into the basement. It is supposed to be nice outside and my mom will be home all day so she offered to keep an eye on Ky while I worked on getting it all done.
Saturday - AM garage sale then afternoon cleaning/resting. I want to cook something easy and yummy that gives us enough for Sunday too.
Sunday - Football of course and vegging.

Hi All! I've been lurking for some quite some time. Still can't post pictures, but at least I can still chat. Little Bear and I are going to a book sale event at his school (he just started the Birth-3 program at our local primary school, where he meets his preschool teacher once a week). They'll be hosting a family event tomorrow as well, so we'll go to that and one other family friendly event. However our biggest project is cleaning and organzing our home, so we're ready for winter.
Warm thoughts to everyone and congratulations to all the newest/recently expecting members!
Fri - the kids were supposed to be off of school today, but had a half day to make up for the hurricaine closures. It wasn't worth me going in, so I dropped them off, got coffee, went to Target and got myself a couple of warm sweaters since work is so cold, returned pants that didn't fit Carter to Kohls, went to Home Depot and bought all the supplies for a clean up kit for the hurricaine relief drive they are doing at school, went to the outlet and bought them new pants, went to Walmart to get additional stuff for the hurricaine drive. And still picked them up at noon. I took them to lunch and then they played outside while I cleaned up leaves from the front of the house and put all of the Halloween stuff back in storage. We have a birthday party to go to tonight. Until then we are going to rest/relax.
Sat - they are coming to clean the carpets sometime between 8-12. I need to take the kids to get stuff for the personal care kits for the hurricaine relief drive (it would have been really chaotic taking them to HD, but I want them to be part of the process) and then we have another birthday party to go to in the afternoon.
Sunday - I am going to get ready for the week in the AM and then take the kids to see the first showing of Wreck It Ralph. While we are at the mall, I have stuff I need to return, and the kids need haircuts. Hopefully our neighbors will be home before it is dark out so we can go to the playground and let the kids run off steam.
Oh, and sometime in there, I would love to take a few pictures of the kids for the Christmas card.
Tonight: I have to take E to pick out a bday gift for her friend. After that hopefully just chilling at home and prepping for a busy weekend.
Saturday: Late morning we are going to a Disney on Ice show with E's friend whose birthday it is and some other neighborhood friends. After that grabbing lunch and then heading up to A's place. She is working all weekend but we are staying there tomorrow night. We have tickets (that I had bought months ago) for the Fresh Beat Band performance at 5pm. After that grabbing dinner and netflix at A's place. Hopefully A will get off work on time so we can spend a little time together.
Sunday: Brunch with A before we head out and she goes back to work. The "official" birthday party for E's friend is in the afternoon at a roller skating rink. Can you say celebrate your kid's bday all weekend? If I had known about the party initially, I might have said no to the Disney event, but oh well, I'm sure E will enjoy spending the entire weekend doing fun kid things. After that, home to prep for the week and surely put a tired kid to bed early.
