Washing Question

I'm new to CDs and I just purchased some Alvababy CDs and the instructions say to wash the inserts separate from the covers... why would that be? i mean, im not trying to run my washer 8 times a day here. CDs are supposed to be environmentally friendly and i find running the washer twice for diapers is crazy.... anyone know why they should be washed separate?  OR any other washing tips would be helpful :o) TIA

    I don't have any alvas, so I haven't seen their instructions, but I think they just mean pull the inserts out before you wash them. Things get much cleaner that way.
