Welcome to the check in group for Pregnant After Preemie! This group is also for those who are actively trying to conceive, planning on it, or just thinking about it...

So, list your first name, due date if you're pregnant or ttc timeline, preemie's name and gestational age at birth as well as the reason for their prematurity.

Re: Pregnant (& TTC) after a Preemie Check In (11/8/12)

  • I am so thankful for making it this far still pregnant and not on bedrest. I'm 30 weeks and have graduated to "normal" prenatal care with the exception of my weekly 17p shots. So cool!!! I'm getting bigger and bigger and less comfortable and, in most moments, loving it all because it means I'm closer and closer to having a full term baby! My c-section is now scheduled for 12-26-12 which will be at 37w3d. So excited!

  • Today while at Target I ran into the doctor who treated Caroline in the NICU. She came up to me and asked how my baby was doing. It was so thoughtful of her to even remember us, she wanted to see pictures, know how she was doing, etc. I'm really thankful each and every day for those wonderful doctors and nurses in the NICU who took care of both of my babies.

  • Well, we can add me to the "Pregnant" list, I got my BFP yesterday on my first round of Clomid (I ended up developing PCOS after Corri was born and it wasn't discovered until I was trying for over 6 months with no success)! We are thrilled and praying this pregnancy goes the distance!

I am thankful that Corri is healthy, happy and developmentally ahead despite her early arrival. I am also thankful that the Clomid worked on the first try and I didn't have to be on it for months.

When we did the March for Babies walk last May, one of our former NICU nurses was at the registration booth and totally recognized me. She was happy to see Noah and how well he was doing.

We got our BFP #3 on 10/04, but was really hesitant to post. I am hoping that 3rd time's a charm though! :-) EDD: 06/29/13
