As of Monday we finished our 6th and final home study interview. All our stuff has been turned in, our profile books are currently being distributed to the 4 different agency sites, our final personal reference was turned in (not by our original person), and we're just waiting for the head SW of our program to approve our home study report.
It feel SO good to have all our stuff finally done after 6.5 months of this constant paperwork, interviews, and classes.
I just want our freaking approval so I can move on to the next basket-case stage of the game in the "waiting pool."

Is that amount of time typical for a HS? Our agency says our home study will take about 8 weeks. Why did it take 6.5 months? I hoping it does not take us that long!
Yeah for you! I am quickly learning that it is good to celebrate each step in this... since it is such a lengthy trying process!
I got a money order today so I could get a copy of my birth certificate for phase II of my homestudy. (Who the heck requires money orders these days???) Yeah me!
I don't believe so. We had 6 different interview sessions and a ton of other educational things, etc that doesn't seem to always be the norm on here. The interview portion of it only took 3 months.
