Help!

SO I have a friend (yes, this is a real friend. and the only reason Im getting involved is because 1, she asked for my help, and two we will be moving in together shortly.)

 Her daughter is almost three. My friend is a very sweet very loving mother, unfortunately, her daughter has taken advantage of that and now knows she can get her way. She throws huge tantrums, doesn't know how to share toys with other kids, says no, hits and yells at her mother.She will fight her way out of time outs especially in public. And my friend has spent the past 2 years bribing her daughter with goodies to get her to listen, even if the listening only last 2 minutes before another bribe. Shes a very soft spoken mother and is very unsure of herself when it comes to discipline, especially in public. My parenting style is MUCH more strict, no bs, no bribering, no negotiating. SO I don't know if my suggestions will work for her.

 Im wondering if anyone has any great ideas for me to bring to my friend to help her gain some control and respect but still fits her parenting style.. Idk if thats even possible!!

I would tell her what YOU do as a parent, since that is your firsthand experience. Even soft-spoken, unsure people can try out new ways of parenting.
