I just wanted to share this-I needed to find an OB since my last doctor with my daughter was absolutely awful and worthless during delivery. So, I did a lot of research about what doctors were covered with our insurance, and I thought I found a great group of doctors at the hospital I want to deliver at. Well, when I went to make my appt I could tell they were SOOOO Busy. I was on hold forever, was treated like I was a burden, etc. I made the appointment anyway just to have one, but in the back of my mind I wanted to find something a ilttle more "personal" so I kept researching. Yesterday, I found an AWESOME group of female doctors at the same hospital (and completely covered by our insurance) that are so nice!!! I called and talked to the receptionist and she was so friendly, welcoming and just willing to really help. So, I got an 8week appointment scheduled and at the end of the call she said "oh, and congrats on your wonderful pregnancy!' I was so touched by their kindness and excitement of having me as a patient I immediately knew I wanted to switch. So, i called and cancelled my other appointment with the "busy doctors" haha
See...it pays to trust your instincts. Always!! Thanks for listening. I was just so happy I had to share. I can't wait for my 8 week appointment/ultra sound!!

Re: So glad I followed my instincts-OB related!
I hope to have similar luck as I'm also switching from my previous OB. It's good to know that some places actually are friendly and personal!
