Besides contacting a former employer?is there a way to obtain a copy of past W-2?s? We need some old W-2?s of H?s and he had several jobs in the years we need. Is there a way to just get a copy of w-2?s without contacting all his past employers? Like through the IRS? Thanks. (Yes we were idiots for not hanging on to these)

It would be pretty unlikely that you would be able to get them from the IRS, plus they would probably charge you.  

I would contact the employers and see what they can do.
