GTKY: do you and DH have a set spending limit for each others' gifts for Xmas? Do you buy each other gifts? Or just go purchase some larger item you both want together?
High point: my chiropractor made a house call today!! She spent an hour on me massaging and then adjusted my neck. I feel glorious! I also got a package in the mail from Macy's: 2 pairs of new pjs that are super soft and cozy and I can tell will fit great after baby comes.
GTKY: DH and I have been on a debt elimination program for quite some time now. Almost done: 2 more months! So we budget strictly and have cut way back. We agree to a 30 spending limit on each other for our stockings, no gifts. We get gifts from both sets of our parents so we don't need much. It's challenging to find things we actually need/like for under 30 and to stretch that as far as possible but it's actually kind of fun. We'll probably keep doing this until DD gets old enough to notice Santa isn't leaving us much!
Had childbirth class tonight, still seems surreal that I will actually be participating in labor in the near future. I just feel like I'm in data collection mode and am a bystander again. Guess it will start to sink in soon enough!
GTKY: we vary with this every year. We don't do gifts for anything else, birthdays, anniversary, etc, so Christmas is really it. Last year we set a 50 spending limit and I was able to get some good deals on BF to help me stay within budget.
This year we have not talked about it and I have already blown every previous budget out of the water. I've paid for a surprise guys weekend with his buddies from college that he doesn't know about yet. It includes a concert, hotel, and tix to a bball game. Plus I bought an additional concert tix for later in the month for him too. He loves DMB and they are doing a winter tour. He has been guilting me so much about how he can't go bc of baby and complications. I figured since things are going well he should be able to make it. The look on his face will be worth every penny!

No high points today... I've literally been bored to tears... I always thought that was just a saying, now there's some truth to it!
GTKY: We always set a limit but DH always goes over it... This year we're cutting back since my income is gone with being on bed rest and we're using every extra dollar to get ready for baby. Other than a take-home baby, I don't need anything this year!

My induction date is Friday; baby is doing okay but they are doing it as a precaution.
GTKY: DH & I haven't decided on gifts yet. We'll probably just get gifts for family and our DD.
