4th beta is good news!!!!

My numbers doubled in 48 hours ON THE NOSE!!! I am so relieved and thankful! I am still anxious to see a heartbeat on an ultrasound but I am no longer freaking out for the time being lol.

    Yay for an awesome outcome.

lol the bolded.  After my good 2nd beta, I was good for about a day or so before I started freaking out again.  Doesn't help that I am home bound with the flu.

Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things. Lilypie Fourth Birthday tickers Pregnancy Ticker

I see from your sig that you are also in the adoption process. Do you still plan on pursuing that? Was it always your intention to do both adoption and bio, or is the BFP an unexpected success (like mine!)?

Both! Before we ever started TTC, we knew that we wanted both bio and adopted children. Half my extended family is adopted and my parents fostered. It's dear to my heart. I recently got diagnosed as annovulatory...I know, the irony.... So we decided to pursue adoption while TTC on our own without medical intervention. A month after we started, we got this BFP which WAS a surprise. So since 1st Tri is risky and there's no guarantees this will be a successful pregnancy yet, we're still moving forward with adoption as planned. If I pass my 1st trimester, we'll tell our case worker. Some will let you keep going as planned during your pregnancy or newborn phase. Others thinks its best to wait a bit till your bio baby is a bit older. That will be the case workers call, not ours. But regardless, we at least want to be licensed and we'll seek placement whenever we're allowed.
