You still count!! I mostly lurk too, but I have noticed a serious lack of new posts or responses to other posts.  I don't know where everyone went, but come back!! If you're just busy I guess that's okay :-)

I don't know about everyone else, but I have been quiet because I feel like I'm in this weird "in between" stage of the pregnancy.  All the big events have happened - big u/s, gender, movement, etc and I'm feeling pretty good and comfortable with how things are going right now.  I think things will pick up as we all get closer to our birth month, feel more uncomfortable and have the wonderful stress of the holidays :-)

I'm on facebook but not on the facebook page that I hear about! lol Maybe people should just start talking about random things or making random polls just for fun? I don't know how to make them though. Hmm. I don't know I'm just bored right now so I'm rambling. ha

I have facebook but I feel weird joining such a large group over there when I don't really know you IRL... No offense to anyone I am just really protective of my privacy.

I however love public forums because it is so anonymous!  

It has been way too slow and I fear with the holidays coming up it will slow down some more.

I'm a lurker too and was wondering the same thing! I'm also in the boring stage right now, although I'm fiiiinally getting a bump instead of a fat roll. That's about all the excitement in my cubicle today. I'm bored!

I have a FB account but I never use it unless I gotta email someone whose email address I don't have! Also, I know "whats the diff?", but I don't want FB to know that I am pregnant. I haven't made an announcement or updated status or anything b/c FB knows enough about me already! In fact, before baby gets here I plan on deleting even more info from facebook and hopefully not letting too many pictures leak. I like having an account so I can see when people do post pics of me on there and so on but I really want to keep the info to a minimum on FB in general.

I don't think it's FB.. we're just in a stage where there's nothing we have daily posts about (NT scans, anatomy scans, etc) are all over with pretty much.

I agree with Shayliz - I'm on the FB group and it's pretty dead there too.  I think we're all just in that awkward stage.

Polls are fun -  or if anyone has that Random Questions book - the one where you have scenarios of whether you would or would not do something - post a question a day! IT could get interesting...

There's a LOT of people on the FB group. I've been a little MIA lately, mostly just because I'm starting to feel overwhelmed and needed to take some time away. I'm trying to make my way back over here more.

I agree after all the big milestones have been hit now I'm just waiting to get to 3rd tri!

 I'm still busy trying to figure out this registry thing...its hard to stick to choices when I keep finding more stuff.  Now I'm signing up for all the classes - breastfeeding, maternity tour, newborn class.  

Thanksgiving potluck at work next week - yay!  Let the food coma begin!

Will admit I'm more of a lurker (just not much to say i guess)

But I will agree with the in-between stage. I've also been very busy at work (A teacher and the end of the grading quarter was last week,Report cards went home today, NOT looking forward to reading my emails in the morning). In general I feel like a slacker..bought nothing for the baby yet. haven't even ordered a crib! Don't think im having a shower its my second. I told my husband after thanksgiving we have to order our crib. My goal is to get things together when I'm off for winter break.

 

Oh and I'm also not on FB, against it for soooooo many reasons

Hopeful things will pick up soon.

I'm really bad about starting posts....but I read a lot of them!  I feel like, as a FTM, I'm just trying to gather as much info as I can and don't feel that I have a on to contribute. However, I do try and keep up the regular Monday check in for runners and do my ticker change post religiously!  I would spend more time both here and on FB if my eyes weren't so heavy all the time!  (Third tri exhaustion?)

Yup, I'm a member if a FB group from TN but I was on the board for three years and met a number if the girls before joining. I've only been on here 5 months so I don't want to share my personal info on FB with everyone! Especially as I use it to keep my family and friends up on what's going on in DD's life.

People can't see your facebook stuff other than the front profile page. You only friend to one person to get to the group but the rest of the people aren't friended to you. All I can see when I click on someone's name on the fb page is the pics from their profile page and the info that person made public. If you allow friends of friends to see things (which I don't) then people can see all your pics and stuff since you share a mutual friend to join, but most people have their privacy settings to friend only. It just depends on the settings on your fb page. No one else would be able to read your personal posts and you wouldn't be reading theirs.
