Pregnancy wise, the babies are doing well, so that's great. But I'm not, and haven't been. I've had horrible m/s, and am still taking a zofran a day and occasionally vomiting. But that's not what's bothering me. What the issue is now, is that I've had some sort of virus for 4 weeks now. I can't beat it. The 1st week I was getting low grade fevers and ended up in L&D b/c of it. They tested me for strep (no strep) and the fevers went away. They thought virus. Last Friday, I was still going through 3 boxes of tissues a day and started hacking up green. Lungs sounded good but they put me on a z-pack antibiotic. Finished antibiotic yesterday and I'm still coughing green, have a rattling cough (I don't cough often, but when I do it rattles), going through 1/2 box tissues a day, and I haven't been able to hear out of my left ear for a week. I've never been on so much meds in my life (sudafed, z-pack, benadryl, etc, all per doctors orders) and I just can't get completely better. I can't hear or smell! Going to call the nurse now to tell her what's going on. Thanks for listening.

Re: This is hard. :(
Thanks. I never, ever get sick so this is just insane. I can't wait to feel better again.
Thanks.
Thanks!
Thank you. Here's hoping!
That sounds miserable. My DH gets sick like that a couple of times a year, sometimes the z-pack isn't enough to kick it, he's had to do multiple rounds before. I'm sorry you're feeling so awful.
My kids' pediatrician recently told me that hacking up green stuff isn't really as bad as people think it is, and that (while unpleasant) it isn't a sign of infection.
I hope you feel better soon!
