We currently have a BJ City Mini and love it but it obviously won't work for two kids. DS will be just turning 2 when this baby arrives. I would like a tandem double stroller rather than a side by side and would like to stay around the $300-$350 range. I like the Joovy Ergo Caboose since it seems like we will be able to use it for a long time. (Infant seat and toddler seat and the sit/stand option when DS is older).
I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a similar stroller setup? I'm sure there are a lot of brands out there that I haven't heard of or looked into. TIA!

Re: Double stroller recs?
With a 2 year old spacing I suggest getting a single that can convert to a double since your toddler won't need a double all the time (maybe the mall, zoo, amusement park....)
we have a baby jogger city select. It can be a single, double, use a car seat, single with added gider board for toddler, seats rotate in different directions.....but it is expensive! Many do fine them used for $350-400
others that convert are Phil &teds, Britax and a few others.
I do like the City Select but even if you can find it used for cheaper than the normal retail price don't you then have to buy the kit for the second seat? In a perfect world that's what I would get. But I'm not willing to spend that kind of money. Also, we'll be keeping the City Mini that we have now to use when DS will no longer need to be in the stroller. But I like the sit/stand option for older children in case they get tired of walking.

Do you use your stroller a lot? We went with a side by side because DS likes to walk (and push the stroller) so the only time we really need a double is day trips. I wanted to make sure we had a stroller that both seats reclined for naps. I have my single stroller, that I love, and the Maclaren Techno double. I planned to buy a universal glider attachment to keep in the basket and attach as needed, but haven't had the need yet. They also make a universal sit/stand attachment.
Maybe we're not talking about the same stroller? The website shows the Ergo Caboose with the infant car seat above the rear bench seat and then the front seat is open for my toddler. When the infant is too big for the infant car seat then the toddler who would be closer to age 3 would sit on the rear bench seat and younger baby sits in the front seat. I hope that made sense lol.
ETA: I just looked at the other strollers on the website and I think you were talking about the Caboose Stand On Tandem Double Stroller. Which, you're right, toddler would have to use the rear bench seat with the infant car seat. The Ergo Caboose has a much better set up.
