I didn't "interview" like I did with the pedi. I just chose a couple pediatric dentists that were on my insurance and close to home. Then I googled them and read some parent reviews and chose the one that sounded like one I would like. In the end the experience was ok, but I'm going to upgrade my dental coverage at next open enrollment because there were very few pedi dentists on my current coverage that were close to our home and there are a couple of others close by that I've heard better reviews on from parents in our area (we just moved here). You can also ask her pedi for recs.

I did the same thing as pp just searched for pedi-dentists who were close by and read parent reviews. The one thing I wanted to make sure of was that I could come into the room. There are still dentists who do not allow this and I knew that wasn't for us!
