Anxiety and periods linked?

Since coming off my zoloft and ativan about 2 months ago. I notice I only really get anxiety right before my period. After I had baby and my tubes tied, I have noticed this. Plus, I get to the point that every little thing that husband does annoys me. I never really had pms before all this. Periods were very regular and never had mood swings. Just wondering if anyone else notices or deals with it.

    My doctor had me on Citalopram (off now because of TTC). He started with the lowest dose, of course, but decided that I should take double around the time of my period because my depression seems to hit hard then. DH makes me the most irritable for various reasons, so when my period comes around, my depression symptoms are focused him the most. I started noticing a pattern that i didn't like, which is when my dr told me to double up during my period--It really helped!

    Yes. My anxiety really spikes around ovulation and before my period.
